General description: Rosemary is an aromatic evergreen shrub with hemlock-like leaves. The leaves are used as flavorings in foods such as lamb, roast lamb, pork, chicken and Turkey. It is home to the Mediterranean and Asia, but is fairly strong in cold climates. It can withstand drought and survive due to severe water shortage for long periods. Models range from upright to trailing. Straight models can be 1.5 meters (5 feet) long, and rarely 2 meters (6 feet 7 inches). The leaves are evergreen, 2-4 cm (0.8-1.6 in) long and 2-5 mm long, green top, and white below, with thick, short, wooly hair. Flower plants in spring and summer are in temperate climates, but plants can be in stable blooms in warm climates; flowers are white, pink, purple, or dark blue. Rosemary also has a tendency to flower outside the normal flowering season. It was known as a flower in early December and early February.
